Yuuri is your average teenager who has just found out he's the demon King to another world. He's sort of shy, oblivious to romantic advances from people of both genders, clumsy, and yet amazingly kind-hearted. Even though his new found kingdom is torn between demons and humans, he tries to push it all aside in the hopes that the two races can one day work together and live in peace and harmony. He is so incessant on peace that often, he rejects violence, even if it's in his defence--when enraged he becomes fully possesed by the former Demon King sleeping in his body--and proceeds to bring 'justice' upon the evil-doers. Yet, even when defeated, Yuuri extends the hand of friendship, even going so far as to adopt a human child assassin as his own daughter upon hearing the girl's story.
